Our Story
Dr. David Janiczek founded Get Admitted MD to make the journey to med school more approachable and less intimidating. Growing up in Iowa, David attended the University of Iowa for both his undergraduate studies in Integrative Physiology and medical school at the Carver College of Medicine. After completing an anesthesia residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago and a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, David now practices in New Mexico.
While serving on his med school’s admissions committee, David saw firsthand what makes an application stand out. Driven by a desire to support aspiring doctors, he created Get Admitted MD in 2018 to provide students with the personalized guidance he wished he’d had.
